Allison was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and grew up loving to dance, sing, and act. She received training in the Royal Winnipeg Ballet's competitive workshop division. Upon graduating from High School with Honours in French Immersion, she attended the University of Winnipeg on scholarship and studied Theater, Philosophy, Sociology, English, and Psychology.
During this time Allison worked as a professional dancer, singer and actor
appearing in various productions in Winnipeg. Productions included Rainbow Stage, Winnipeg Jewish Theatre, Casinos of Winnipeg, and she also cheered on the CFL's Winnipeg Blue Bombers as a member of the Blue Lightning Dance Team.
Allison continued her studies at the Canadian College of Performing Arts in Victoria, BC. Here, keen scouting eyes noticed her for the Norwegian Cruise Line's Production Company, Jean Anne Ryan Productions where she travelled as a principal singer and dancer touring the Caribbean for two years.
Allison’s movie credits include “Shall We Dance" with Richard Gere, Stanley Tucci, and Jennifer Lopez, “Fringe” and Robert Redford’s film “The Company We Keep”.
Allison also has received a diploma from the The British Columbia Institute of Technology in Broadcast Journalism.
Her host credits include current opportunities in hosting, writing and producing a current affairs television show called “Free Talk” and hosting a lifestyle television show “City Lights”. Allison is also the host of a Canadian National television show on the Real Estate Channel hosting “The Real Estate Minute”.
